This is a little windows-program i found in the CL-BBS, this program let's you upload up to 2 wav-files in the awe32 dram. It creates a user bank no. 127 where the standard (ROM) Acoustic Grand Piano and Bright Acoustic Grand Piano (instrument #0 and #1) can replaced by custom wav files, it doesn't support any patch parameters like envelope, multi-samples, etc. To hear the new sounds in your midi file follow the four steps: 1. start midi-mapper and choose a awe32synth driver as output device 2. start dram.exe and replace the instrument #0 and #1 by uploading your own wav-files 3. start a sequencer program like cubase and load the midi- file you wish to hear, then replace the program-change of the requested instrument by a bank-select #127 command (controller 0/32 value:127) followed by a program-change to instrument #0 or #1 4. select as outputdriver either awe32synth or midimapper now you should the new wav-sound, incredible, isn't it?
